Dominion Settlement won’t stop Fox from lying!

Here’s why…

Sure, Dominion won an ENORMOUS AMOUNT of money in this settlement. $787.5 MILLION DOLLARS to be exact.

And it makes sense for Dominion to settle now, instead of rolling the dice with a jury and years of appeals. But did Fox admit to anything? No. And will they stop lying? No.

The fact is that this lawsuit came about because Fox told lies about a private company, Dominion, and who had the legal right to sue for defamation. So what Fox learned is lie…but don’t tie it to any specific company. That way they can’t get sued in the future. So stick with other “bogeymen”, like Venezuela or “Antifa”. And you can lie all you want.

Remember the motive here is to feed their audience what that audience wants to hear. The horrible libs, anti-woke, Democratic fraud…

As Rupert said in one of his depositions: “It isn’t red or blue. It’s green.” All about those Benjamins.

Now further proof, Fox hasn’t learned its lesson, consider Fox’s statement. Here it is: “We are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute with Dominion Voting Systems. We acknowledge the Court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false. This settlement reflects FOX’s continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards. We are hopeful that our decision to resolve this dispute with Dominion amicably, instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial, allows the country to move forward from these issues.”

No admission of wrongdoing. Let’s break it down:

“We are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute with Dominion Voting Systems.”

What they mean: Rupert really didn’t want to testify. And he didn’t want his big stars to testify and have to admit their hate for Trump and knowing that they were telling lies.

“We acknowledge the Court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false.”

This is hilarious. They acknowledge the Courts findings? But do they accept those findings as truth? No … they just acknowledge that the judge said “certain” claims to be false. Which claims? Fox admits to nothing here.

“This settlement reflects FOX’s continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards.”

I mean, come on. What journalistic standards? When Tucker Carlson was sued awhile ago, Fox defense of Tucker was that he wasn’t a “news man” but rather an “entertainer”.

Further, when Fox News host Neil Cavuto pulled his show away from a presentation by then White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany in which she made unfounded claims of fraud once more, his colleagues attacked him. (BTW: McEnany is now a host on Fox News.)

We are hopeful that our decision to resolve this dispute with Dominion amicably, instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial, allows the country to move forward from these issues.”

This is most definitely false. Fox is all about riling up its audience. Keep them angry, bordering on violence, and/or afraid. They are one of the reasons this country is so divisive.

And finally, who will hear about this settlement? Not Fox’s audience. None of them will discuss this on their shows. So, the Fox audience won’t hear anything about this.

Don’t believe me? Watch Fox News and see how much you hear about this…
