What about a “well regulated militia” in the 2nd Amendment that gun nuts don’t understand???

https://americanenlightenmentproject.org/2nd-amendment-explained/

I am SICK of it. The Gun Violence. The US has become a VIOLENT COUNTRY. Violent like in third world violent. Indiscrimately violent.

Assault weapons. Concealed carry with no permit needed. Lax gun selling laws. School shootings. Lack of red flag laws, or safe storage laws. Loopholes for gun sales.

And now, shooting a 16 year old in the head when he rings a doorbell,

a 20-year old girl killed for turning into the wrong driveway (and actually, she was turning AROUND to leave before she got shot),

a Texas cheerleader shot for getting into the wrong car in a parking lot, mistaking the car for her carpool ride after practice.

This is unacceptable.

This has got to stop. Don’t vote Blue or Red this year, vote to STOP GUN VIOLENCE.

When the NRA and its followers talk about the Second Amendment, they conveniently don’t discuss the “well regulated” part of the Amendment. Well, I for one want a “WELL REGULATED” group of gun owners.

I, like so many others, are done with shooter drills for our kids, concealed guns everywhere, fear of death or harm from gun violence.

Don’t I and others have a RIGHT to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” as guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence?

I have friends in Europe who won’t visit me here in the United States because they fear gun violence.

Mass shootings have reached an all time high. Assault weapons are flooding our streets. And now, folks are killing a kid for knocking on a door, or turning down a wrong driveway, or getting into a mistaken carpool car?

FOLKS, wake up. THE PRO-GUN POLITICIANS ARE BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY THE GUN INDUSTRY. We need to fight back.

So don’t vote Red or Blue…vote for sane gun safety measures!!!
