My Eternal Love

The love of many lifetimes

I remember when you and I were a thing.

I rewrite that story to make it not so sad.

I react to the thought of you…the very thought of you.

I reign over my grief, my tears like diamonds falling out of my heart…

I realize that we will always be, as we always were in many lives past,

I reel in my expectations for our reunion in this life but

I restore my belief that we will once again be together in another future.
