Why would you wait to get Covid and then use expensive monoclonal antibody treatments?

News flash: Monoclonal antibody treatments AREN’T FDA APPROVED. Pfizer vaccine IS and Moderna and J&J just weeks away

I don’t get it. I read that so many people are virulent antivaxxers and their excuse is that the vaccines don’t have final FDA approval. And then, demanding monoclonal antibody treatments when they do get sick.

NEWS FLASH: Monoclonal antibody treatments ARE NOT FDA approved! Let me say it again, NOT FDA APPROVED.

And they are expensive and, because they are difficult to produce, there’s not much supply. But this is the go-to strategy for the numbskulls who refuse vaccinations.

In fact, in Tennesse, there are now 72 monoclonal antibodies centers across the state touting that treatment is “highly effective if used early.” Another NEWS FLASH: A vaccine is highly effective NOW!

The misinformation is crazy out there. Folks injecting themselves with Ivermectin, a HORSE dewormer! Crazy…and dangerous. There isn’t ONE SHRED of PROOF that Ivermectin will do anything with Covid. Not one shred.

What’s the deal? Money. For Governor Death DeSantis it’s about $$$$$$$$. Remember, DeathSantis wants to run for President in 2024. A BIG donor to his campaign holds Regereron Stock, one of 2 companies producing monoclonal antibody treatment…hence, DeathSantis is creating more NEED by banishing masks (better to spread the Delta variant and create more customers) and down playing vaccinations (which would reduce the need for the treatment). I am so furious I could spit.

And now to the other asshole governor, Abbott of Texas and other GOP Governors (can anyone say Gov. Noem?), who ban mask mandates, downplay vaccinations but push monoclonal antibody treatments for the unvaxxed when they end up in the hospital. Why? Money. Check the flow of donations to these murdering governors. It’s all about money.

Oh, and while we are at it…talking about financial windfalls, let’s talk about insurance companies!

While hospitals are over-loaded and leaking money and are about to go belly up, INSURANCE COMPANIES are making money hand over fist. Treating covid patients is expensive and the government pays for that…the government which means you and me.

Meanwhile, elective surgeries are being delayed by hospitals and guess who that helps? Yep, insurance companies who keep collecting insurance premiums but don’t have to pay out.

So, let’s pick winners and losers here.

First the losers…YOU, the average person. Even if you are vaccinated, even if you don’t get sick, YOU are paying for the unvaccinated who DO get Covid. YOU are paying for their hospital stay, the use of expensive treament, the overtime of nurses and doctors. YOU are paying for the lockdowns, the restrictions, the fact that life can’t return to normal.

And the winners?

Politicians like DeSantis, Noem, Abbott, Margery Taylor Greene, who are using political animus to fundraise.

Insurance Companies.

Pharmaceutical Companies.

So, people, wise up. Get vaccinated with the FDA APPROVED Pfizer or soon to be approved Moderna or J&J. Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Maintain protocols. Encourage your friends to do the same.

Oh, and by the way, if you don’t want to help, then when YOU get sick, find an antivax hidey-hole but don’t send the bill to the rest of us!
